MV Agusta to enter indian market
Like all motorcycle manufacturers, the famous Italian Motorcycle maker, MV Agusta has finally recognized the potential of the Indian two wheeler market and has decided to exploit it by launching their range of models in India. We can expect MV Agusta’s foray into the Indian market as early in the year 2012.
Just in case you didn’t know, M stands for Meccanica which means mechanic in Italian and V stands for Verghera, which is the city where the first firm’s motorcycle was built. European firms like BMW, KTM and Ducati have already set up their foundation in India very well and now MV Agusta expects to set a very good base.
In the year 2011, MV Agusta became the first Italian firm to set up a plant in Brazil for the Brazilian domestic market. The firm also entered various other foreign markets, including Australia, China and Canada. Unlike Brazil, the bikes will be imported to India as Completely Built Units (CBU).
The firm has not yet announced the line up for the Indian market and has not decided about showcasing their models in the upcoming Auto Expo 2012. The bike models which will most probably make it to the Indian shores are Brutale 920, Brutale R1090, Brutale RR 1090, Brutale 675, F4, F4 RR and F3. MV Agusta is no less than any other company like Ducati and BMW, and more competition equals better choices and prices.
