The new face – lifted Jaguar XF diesel version
Jaguar Land Rover, British Subsidiary of the Indian auto giant Tata Motors, has rolled-out a new face – lifted version of its popular luxury saloon – Jaguar XF – in the Indian market. The new Jaguar XF facelift saloon carries a series of cosmetic changes at both exterior and interior fronts, while the engine units of both petrol and diesel versions have been directly borrowed from the older model.
At the exterior, a few upgrades have been made at both front and rear portion of the car. While the front fascia has been made more fascinating with a new nose and newly added slit eyes that are directly borrowed from XJ model.
As mentioned above, both diesel and petrol version of the car will be carrying the same engine units as before. The new face – lifted Jaguar XF diesel version will come powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine which is capable of generating a peak power of 274bhp. On the other hand, the petrol version of the car will come powered by a 5.0-litre V8 petrol which delivers a peak power of 380 bhp. Meanwhile, the company is also looking forward to roll out a 2.2L diesel version of the new XF saloon with 188 bhp of peak power, for the fuel economy conscious buyers.

While the petrol version of the car carries a price tag of Rs 81.88 lakh, the diesel version is priced at Rs 64.22 lakh (on-road Mumbai). While petrol version is Rs 3 lakh expensive as compared to previous version, the diesel version is dearer by Rs 1.5 lakh..
