After launching the New Verna, the company is aggressively testing the Hyundai Eon – answer to Maruti Suzuki Alto. This article is not about the above two models. We are talking about the Hyundai i10 Diesel.

Hyundai i10 Diesel is slated to be launched in India very soon and without an option to the buyers they tend to reach rivals outlets to book their diesel car. Hyundai i10 is one of the highest selling models for the company and will soon answer to the buyers by launching the i10 diesel version.

At the moment, Hyundai i10 Diesel is offered in foreign markets with a 1.1-litre turbocharged CRDi diesel engine that generates 75PS @4000rpm and 153NM of torque at 1900-2750rpm and matted by a 5-speed manual transmission.

At the moment, the Indian market is rushing towards the diesel market and the sales compared from Petrol to diesel have a ration of 40:60 and which could still go up to 30:70 (petrol: diesel) sales.

Hyundai i10 Diesel will directly compete against the Chevrolet Beat Diesel, Toyota Liva Diesel and other competitors.
