The Honda CBR250R on paper is a big read and when launched was the most sought after machine. We had a few of our readers who owned the Honda CBR250R complaining in the early days about rusting parts and cheap plastic being used on a 1.5 -1.75 lakh worth Honda Motorcycle.

Honda the Japanese giant in motorcycles is not known for such slip-ups. The only other thing that comes to our mind is that Honda would have got cheated by an Indian component supplier who would have managed to get a hold of the contract to supply a few components and for sure has done one hell of a bad job!

We are getting some reports that Honda is quietly going about replacing such rusting parts during services and new replacement parts are of better quality. Come on Honda we don’t expect cheap quality when one is shelling out that kind of money for a 250 cc motorcycle in India.
