Ford Ecosport SUV 2012
Ford plans to role-out the Ford Ecosport SUV in India by 2012. Industry sources confirm Ford will showcase the Ecosport SUV at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo however the launch is expected at the end of 2012.
The Ford Ecosport SUV has been developed on the global compact car platform B2E making it a sub four metre car. One of the exterior features that one can notice is a spare wheel mounted on the tailgate.
From our analysis we feel the new SUV from ford looks fresh and has a bold design. Sharply cut tail lamps, high bonnet and bold stance with some good ground clearance makes the Ford Ecosport SUV stand out from the rest of the SUV’s in its segment.
Looking at the technical specifications the Ford Ecosport SUV will come equipped with 1.5 litre DV5 diesel engine. The engine will generate 90 bhp. Ford needs to keep in mind if the Ford Ecosport SUV has to succeed or even role-out the petrol variant the fuel efficiency will be the BIG QUESTION ?
