Bajaj Auto has produced a record 100,000 units in a month at its Pantnagar facility. This was the highest production by the company in any of its facility in the country. Bajaj is also planning to invest close to Rs. 75 crore to increase capacity to 1.8 million units from the current 1.2 million units at its Pantnagar plant. This expansion is expected to be completed by early next year. Bajaj’s Pantnagar facility manufactures the Platina and Discover.
