new Audi Q3 will be launched in India
new Audi Q3 will be launched in India and will be its smallest and cheapest SUV on its Indian portfolio. We have already previewed the 2012 Audi Q3 some time back. Audi India will display the car at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo and the launch is expected by February. The new Audi Q3 is assembled at its facility at Aurangabad where it already assembles the A4, A6 and Q5 SUV.
The new Audi Q3 is likely to be launched in two engine options including the 2.0-litre diesel and the 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine for the Indian market. The former is likely to produce 177-bhp of power and the later to produce at 211-bhp. The new Audi Q3 is offered with a 7-speed automatic and Quattro as standard across the models and also come with three driving modes including Comfort, Normal and Dynamic.
The new Audi Q3 is likely to be price around Rs 25-lakh to Rs 31-lakhs which is slightly higher than the BMW X1. The company expects majority of sales should happen on the diesel version and the petrol is likely to fall on the performance section.
